A Thieving Curse by Selina R. Gonzalez

💜A Thieving Curse by Selina R. Gonzalez💜

Book one in The Miraveld Chronicles.

Oh. My. Goodness! I have no words.

This was a beautiful retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I just loved everything about it…A fantasy and romance that keeps you hooked till’ the end. I could not stop reading! I felt every pain and struggle that Alex and Raelyn went through! Raelyn and her brother’s relationship was so sweet! I also adored the banter between Alex and Raelyn… I could not get enough of it.

Alexander Tallon was just so sweet to Raelyn… I felt for him so badly!! I would have to say he was my favorite character. The author just did an amazing job with the whole plot, and I very much enjoyed their romance.

⚠️My age recommendation would be 14-15+. [Although, I would caution it for 14 year olds]

•Important to know

There are quite a few kisses (most of these were mildly detailed but a couple were very light), a few kisses on the forehead, and on the cheek or jaw, there are touches, holding hands, embraces, sitting on Alex’s lap, seeing him with his shirt off and noticing muscles(semi-detailed). Nearness, noticing, blushing, attraction, smelling, falling in love, love and the feelings. There are some comments that could be taken as innuendos that pertain to the bed but that was when they were about to get married or were already married. In one part of the book, Alex was naked, but covered himself with his wings. Raelyn didn’t see anything scandalous.. it was just awkward for her.(This was not sexual in any way)

Other than that, this book has no foul language or anything that caught my eye that was bad.

My rating: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was amazing and I can’t wait to see what’s next! ðŸ’–
