My thoughts: 

This was a cute little read! 

I’ve read this book multiple times before, when I was younger; but it still held my interest. The Baker Family is so adorable! Their family is so centered on love, honor, respect, and above all, Christ. 

Sibling content!!😆 Philip, Andy, Abby, and Tom were all so close with each other, and you could really see that they cared for each other. Millie took a lot longer for me to actually understand and like, since I was not a fan of her attitude and snobby behavior; but she did get into my “good books” for actually seeing what she did wrong and confessing it. 

I really liked seeing the family’s faith and trust in God when things got hard. The whole neighborhood seemed so caring, like how a neighbor is supposed to be.🩷

This book is so sweet and very clean! A great start to the series, and I hope to review the rest of the Baker Family Adventures and see what’s next in this family’s lives!

This is a cute introduction to the Baker Family! I enjoyed this first book and can see some kids enjoying the mystery in this book and the series!
