The Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Viguié

Blurb:

In the first book of the Sweet Seasons series, Candace finds herself in a romantic comedy with a screwball edge when she starts her summer job at a crazy amusement park. Surviving all the surprises The Zone has in store won’t be easy … but it may be worth it if it means getting to know her attractive and mysterious coworker.

When her father forces sixteen-year-old Candace to apply for a summer job, a position as a cotton candy operator at The Zone is all she can find. With a nametag that says “Candy” and no time to hang out with her best friend, Tamara, Candace can feel the next three months slipping away. The only positive is that her cart is often positioned near Kurt, one of the mascots in the History Zone of the park. But while their flirtation is giving Candace a reason to head to work, her fellow cotton candy girl just happens to be Kurt’s ex. And she’s the kind to hold grudges.

As the summer progresses, the job gets easier, Candace finds a new friend in Josh, and she and Kurt become closer … but Candace’s other relationships both at the park and with Tamara just keep getting worse. And once Kurt’s ex is assigned to her team-building scavenger hunt group, Candace’s life becomes as sticky as the pink fluff she serves all day.

It won’t be easy, though. Her longtime nemesis, Tanner Woods, is also on the ship. His family and Savannah’s are friends, and Tanner knows her better than she’d like to admit. When he learns of her plan, Tanner wants to help, and he encourages her to try everything: zip-lining and dogsledding, hiking the bear-infested Alaskan wilderness, singing late night karaoke, and taking a polar plunge. That’ll show Caleb just what he’s missing.

Except after spending so much time with Tanner, Savannah’s not sure Caleb is the one she wants anymore…

Where We Went Wrong by Anastasia Layne

Blurb:

One Kiss Can Change Everything.

For as long as she can remember, Melody James had a crush on Axel Robins.

Had. As in, past tense.

Because two months ago her best friend’s older brother ripped her heart out and stomped on it for good measure.

As if her family didn’t already have enough drama, now she has to navigate a week-long vacation stuck in the same beach side cabin with the handsome boy who abandoned her after her first kiss.

It will be fine. She can totally show Axel that his rejection hasn’t affected her at all. She can forget about all of her anxieties and family troubles. And, most importantly, can survive the week without having a complete meltdown. Yep. Everything. Will. Be. Fine.

What Not to do on Vacation by Rachel Magee

Blurb:

Savannah is on a mission to reconnect the Prestly sisters the best way she knows how: reliving their carefree childhood summers at the beach. She’s booked the same beach house, convinced her sisters to take the month off, and even made a bucket list to fit in all their favorite coastal fun. It’s going to be perfect . . . or else. (And if planning this trip has anything to do with a certain secret she’s hiding . . . well, let’s not dwell on that.) Sun, sand, and some sisterly bonding–what could possibly go wrong?

Enter Bianca, the baby of the family, with a huge announcement: she’s getting married! And her sisters’ reactions are . . . not exactly what she hoped for. But Bianca is on a mission to prove that she’s not the mess they think she is. Her grand plan? To find love for Cora, her perpetually single sister, on the same dating app where she found her fiancé. The stakes? A bet that if Cora can’t find her ‘One’ on the app, Bianca will call off her engagement. A challenge Bianca is all too ready to tackle head-on, even if it means a little conniving. Cora’s about to get swept off her feet, whether she likes it or not!

Meanwhile, Cora is rolling her eyes so hard they might get stuck. Love is a fairy tale for other people, not her. As she’s filling out her dating profile, she thinks–nope, she knows–it’ll be easy to show her sisters just how absurd this whole love thing is. So what if this Jax guy Cora just matched with is Hemsworth-brother hot? And, if his messages could be believed, maybe even slightly charming? None of this is real, anyway–love just doesn’t come easily Cora. And she’s getting ready to prove it. She’s got this under control.
